A Clio win for Govert Janse’s work on Johnnie Walker’s “Ode to Lesvos”

Johnnie Walker “Ode to Lesvos”, directed by Talal Derki and edited by Govert Janse for Anomaly Amsterdam, earned a bronze Clio. An inspiring story of a few remarkable heroes on the Island of Lesvos who helped almost half a million refugees in 2015 has been documented in a new short film created by Johnnie Walker Storyline – an ongoing series that aims to find and tell the world’s most inspirational stories of human progress.
